How did you come to CBC?

Started up on the "hill" 25 plus years ago. Became part of the church plant in Laguna Beach with Glen Totten and then back in three years just before the "Bowling Alley" was purchased.

What is your role at CBC?

As an Associate Pastor, I perform weddings, memorial services, baby dedications, and man the CARE Department on a daily basis with other pastors and therapists. I also make hospital calls and hospice visitaton as well. I am available to receive and respond to crisis calls.

What is the best part about your role?

The best part is interacting daily on a one-on-one basis with those in need and using Biblical principles to address the issues in their lives; and better yet, is to see God mature them in their faith as they depend upon Him as the solution.

If you were a color, what color would you be?

Blue, like the sky and water because for once there is enough of something!

What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years?

I heard it was Post-its.  Really, however, in a more practical vein, I believe it to be computers and the internet. You have to realize that when I was in college, we didn't even have tape recorders!

What is your favorite place on the earth?

Right now it's my backyard because no one can find me!

What makes you laugh?

Just about everything. To be more specific, the foibles of human nature. I think human behavior is a riot.

What makes you cry?

The pain of others. As an early mentor, Dr. Bob Pierce said, "My heart is broken with the things that break the heart of God."

If you could be on any reality television show, which one would it be?

I would like to be on "Dancing with the Stars."  I would be the "star" of course!
