Family Info:

I married my high school sweetheart and we celebrated 22 years this past March. We have a son, 16, who is a junior in high school and loves to golf; and a daughter, 13, who is in 7th grade and plays soccer. We love to spend time together as a family going to soccer games, playing golf, skiing, taking walks and hanging out in the backyard.

How did you come to CBC?

Soon after we were married, we moved into the apartments across the freeway and visited on a Sunday back in 1987. We were instantly drawn to the worship, the teaching and that undescribable feeling that said "you're home."

What is your role at CBC?

Well, I am responsible for the children's ministry everything from Nursery Care to Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Indian Village. My job is to make sure that the children of the family are safe, and are presented with the gospel in a way that they will enjoy and hopefully, remember.

What is the best part about your role?

Spending time getting creative ideas so that we can make it fun and interesting for the kids, learning new things about the Lord and His word, and spending time with the kids, hearing the funny things they say and think, and being energized by them.

If you were a color, what color would you be?

I have always thought orange and I don't know why. My name seems orange.

What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years?

That would have to be a glue gun. I can put almost everything together with a little glue.

What is your favorite place on the earth?

Probably my home when it is clean! There really is no place like home.

What makes you laugh?

I have had some of my best belly laughs with Deena at Indian Village. To watch the kids be themselves and have the chance to be silly and do their own thing. There is nothing better.

What makes you cry?

If you ask my family, almost anything. I will cry when there is a tender moment during a commercial or reality show.  It doesn't take much.

If you could be on any reality television show, which one would it be?

"Amazing Race" for sure, and the person I would want to go with would be Deena, we make the best team and we would have so much fun!
