Family Info:
Jeanne and I were married in 1972 at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Dana Point! Oh Sure! We've lived in the same home in Dana Point for 33 years. We have 3 grown children; Myles and his wife, Shelby, live in San Juan with their 2 children, Landon and Khloe. Myles manages Sober Living Homes and Shelby is a pre-school teacher. Our daughter, Sadie, lives in her newly purchased home in San Juan and works for Colonial Insurance. Ryan, our youngest, who also works for Colonial, is married to Marie, a Jr. High Science teacher. Their son is Dane and they live in Laguna Niguel. Jeanne takes care of the grandkids, our home and our calendar. She tends to her Ministry, The Tabernacle Experience. This is the first time in our married life that we do not have a dog, but we do have a fresh water aquarium full of plants and fish and an aviary full of doves!
How did you come to CBC?
In 1976 our friends, Jim and Fran Counter were the first to host Chuck Smith, Jr.'s Home Bible Study in Dana Point. So ... we went to check it out and have never left.
What is your role at CBC?
My role at CBC; well, just ask my 3 year old grandson, 'Papa helps people' and he's right! Sometimes I have to do desk work and grind the numbers but it's the least of my roles.
What is the best part about your role?
Watching the Lord change lives. I also love listening to others as they share their great ideas with me and then with my blessing, send them in the right direction to fulfill their own dreams, ideas and calling on their lives.
If you were a color, what color would you be?
Blue. It reminds me of the ocean and the sky!
What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years?
The power lawnmower; no comment required.
What is your favorite place on the earth?
Home.
What makes you laugh?
My grandchildren! Actually all of my kids.
What makes you cry?
Births of babies , weddings and the suffering of others.
If you could be on any reality television show, which one would it be?
24. I'd love to work with Agent Jack Bauer. He loves helping people too! Someone just told me 24 is not a reality show! Whatever.
