Simon's Net Fishing Ministry
This ministry is for everyone who is interested in fishing. Simon’s Net provides our church family with another unique way to have a relationship with Christ, through the sport of fishing. You're invited to witness a direct connection between God and His children. (Life by the Spirit – Gal 5:22-23) Watch His love and joy fill the hearts of our youth through a "hands on" fishing experience.
Our 1st fishing trip of the 2012 season will be on Saturday afternoon June 9th, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and the cost is only $30 per person. These trips are dedicated to all of God's children. Fisher-people 16 and over must purchase a California Sport fishing license for one day or year. As on all of our trips for children under 16 yrs. there are prizes for Bible Trivia and catching the largest legal-sized fish.
All the 2012 fishing trips are on the Clemente, which leaves out of Dana Wharf Sport Fishing in Dana Point Harbor, 34675 Golden Lantern, Dana Point (949) 496-5794. Boats leave on time, so please arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in with us near where the boat docks. Please park in designated parking lot.
Please feel free to invite friends and neighbors (Matt 22:39). Become a "fisher of men" (Matt 4:19). We can provide free loaner fishing rods and reels to the children and some adults. Prior to each trip you can sign up in the hallway near the bookstore, look for our Simon's Net Logo or you can reserve a spot by calling or emailing us. Payment is needed to confirm a reservation(s), please make checks payable to: Capo Beach Calvary.
We will continually sponsor children with physical challenges, underprivileged, and single-parented homes. If it's in your heart to serve His children, please join us. If it's in your heart to sponsor one of these children, for at least a $30 donation, you will receive a Simon's Net Fishing Ministry T-Shirt (valued at $20). These ministry t-shirts are silkscreened with up to 16 colors. The t-shirts tell others the Good News that we as Servants "hook 'em" (God's children) and God "cleans 'em" (their hearts) through His son Jesus Christ who was sacrificed for our sins. Through this, Jesus Christ gives us life.

June 9 - ½ day Afternoon trip 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
July 7 - ½ day 6:30AM to11:30AM (No CA fishing license required only on 7-7-12)
July 28 - twilight trip – 5:30PM to 9:30PM
August 25 - twilight trip – 5:30PM to 9:30PM
