We’re a mixed bunch – some of us love to quilt, some of us love to pray ... so what we do is combine these into a ministry that makes prayer quilts. What’s a prayer quilt? It’s a quilt that’s made for somebody who is suffering – we put ties into the quilt to hold the layers together, and then we tie knots & pray for the recipient. That way, each knot represents a prayer that was lifted up for the person who receives the quilt. The person who is ill or who needs comfort can wrap up in the quilt – made just for him or her – and feel blanketed in love and prayer! Sounds nice, doesn’t it?
